My name is Tracy O. and I have fibromyalgia. I am 46 yo African American woman and have 2 grown children. I love to read, knit, watch tv and movies. There is a ton of stuff I could say about myself but you will get to know me if you just read my blog from time to time.
I have been debating on starting a blog for a very long time. Everyone has been saying it was a good idea but I had no idea what I would blog about. As far as I am concerned, my life is extremely boring. But there are somethings I can write about that might help and at the least entertain someone.
I have fibromyalgia. It is such a beast and a lot of people are not familiar with what we go through from day to day. So what better way than to listen to the ramblings of someone that has this disease and the trials, suffering and humor that I deal with daily.
There will be a lot of other things that I will blog about here. Daily things, thoughts and fubar’s lol. Sorry but you will see me laugh, cry, bitch, complain or just ramble. I hope I wont be too boring but hey you never know.
Good luck with your blog. I will keep checking back to read it. I too have fibro as well as RA, DJD. and 2 rupture disc. I turned 40 and started falling apart. Go check out my blog, I new at it too. Penny
Enjoyed reading ur blog! I too, wanted to do a blog, so I started a myspace. But it was too much trouble. I started Twitter today, but am thinking I really want a blog. Just don’t know where to start. But what u write – u could be me! How long did it take u to get ur disability? I am waiting for my 1st denial now. Ugh – sorry if it’s too personal! Am not really used to blogging, chatting, IMing, etc.
Blogging is a great way to get things off your chest to people who are interested. I also enjoy sharing insights and knowledge I gain from life and all it’s challenges.
Fibromyalgia is currently my blog’s apparent focus, but it’s a reflection of where I’m at in my life. I’m still newly diagnosed (since 2008) and I’m learning about it and getting to know more people online who have it, too.
Good luck blogging and enjoy the release it can bring. Try not to get down if nobody comments for a long time, though. It does not mean nobody is reading. A lot of people just don’t have anything to say or aren’t confident enough to put it up in public.
